As we move forward in 2020, there is some certainty in all of our situations. Companies hiring employees and job seekers will see movement between business and industries. As business ramps up, some faster than others, it is certain some employees will make choices to move around. For business and industry, it is very important to remember that if an employee refuses to return to work, please use this link https://lwdsupport.tn.gov/hc/en-us/ requests/new?ticket_form_id=360003403833 to stop unemployment benefits.

Our goal is for business and industry to return to the new normal as quickly and safely as possible. For this reason, the Economic Recovery Committee of the Hamblen County Corona Virus Task Force has decided to partner with the Citizen Tribune to create a “one-stop-shop” free job hub. This will allow companies to post available jobs and allow applicants one central location to see all available jobs in one place. This should go live this week and will be featured in all of the Chamber’s publications and social media. We would ask you to share this information as well on all of your platforms.

There will be two different tiers offered by the Citizen Tribune. The Basic free posting is on-line for 30 days and includes up to 500 characters and a free photo/logo. The second option is $19.99 and gives the advertiser unlimited words and unlimited photos for 30 days. Additional upsell features for premium placement will also be available. See the ad below for the website to get you started.

Please let the Chamber know as you wade through all of the coming information as it pertains to your business and we will try to send you in the best direction. Thank you all so much for what you do in our community!
